Panoply /behind the scenes\

The Panoply event back in March of this year was an amazing night for Mariel and I, and the lead up to it made us realise how much we wanted to continue working together (Sacred Geometry – launching soon!)

Better late than never, here are some behind the scenes snap shots in the days leading up to Panoply. Many thanks to my fella Alex for helping us construct our geodesic backdrop and to Andy, Alex, and Miriam for being our minions on the day of the performance. x

{above photos by me}

On the morning of the show photographer India Hobson came over to Manchester to play for a few hours while we finished up some props and rehearsed the performance. She took some beautiful photos, which will be up on my website and the Sacred Geometry website very soon! She also very kindly took some behind-the-scenes shots for us:

You can see more BTS shots on the Sacred Geometry blog.

We’re on the lookout for photographers, stylists, and designers to collaborate with. If you might be interested give us a shout at sacredgeometrists@gmail.com

Our website will be launching soon, but for now check out our blog for regular updates on what we’re up to.

IdN

My good friend and sometimes-collaborator Rebecca Maeve Manley has been featured in this month’s IdN! She has very kindly given me a big shout-out in her interview and our collaborative piece 00:00-08:00 is one of the selected images (third image, center-right). That’s me squatting down and looking like a hoodlum.

In other news, work is going well but there’s a lot of it so I’m busy busy busy. Hence the plaster on my finger (too much scissor-ing). And the chipped nail polish. That’s a sure sign of workin’ hard if there ever was one.
